Blindquip Plettenberg Bay

Custom Blinds Shutters & Awnings is a Blindquip and Hunter Douglas accredited agent supplying and installing Blindquip roller, venetian, honeycomb and vertical blinds across Plettenberg Bay, Keurbooms, Keurboomstrand, Nature’s Valley and surrounds.

Plett’s north-facing coastal orientation produces intense UV that degrades standard blind fabrics within a single summer. Blindquip’s Hunter Douglas manufacturing provides UV-stabilised fabrics and coastal-grade components specified for these conditions, and holiday homes need blinds that perform without maintenance between visits. Specification depends on window dimensions, UV exposure and property usage, assessed on site.

Seen a Blindquip sticker on blinds in a Plett home, lodge or guest house? Custom Blinds Shutters & Awnings is the local agent, supplying Blindquip across Plettenberg Bay since 2010: Beachy Head clifftop homes, Goose Valley estates, Whale Rock holiday lets and Brackenridge family homes.

Roller blinds

Blockout, sunscreen and sheer fabrics, UV-stabilised. Dual roller systems filter daytime light and give full blockout at night. UV-stabilised for Plett’s intense north-facing light; ideal for holiday homes. Shop roller blinds.

Aluminium and synthetic venetians

Moisture resistant for kitchens and bathrooms; plaswood (synthetic) venetians resist humidity without warping. Shop venetians.

Honeycomb blinds (Duette)

Cellular insulation against heat and cold through large windows. Top-down bottom-up keeps the view. The most energy-efficient option for Plett’s glass-heavy architecture. Shop honeycomb blinds.

Vertical blinds

For wide sliding doors and floor-to-ceiling glass. Fabric louvres rotate for light control.

Motorisation

All Blindquip products can be motorised with Somfy automation for app control, scheduling and sensor-driven operation.
