How does the Custom Blinds Price Assurance work?
- Find the same blind, fabric, hardware and dimensions for less at a recognised South African retailer.
- Email us the link or a clear screenshot showing the price, with the Custom Blinds product and dimensions you want, before you place your order.
- We verify the claim, usually within 24 hours, and reply with a matched quote. You order at the matched price.
- The Price Assurance applies to claims submitted before an order is placed. It is not retrospective and does not apply to orders already placed.
- Excluded: third-party marketplace listings, clearance, refurbished stock, member-only or trade pricing, bundle deals, callback quotes, and pricing errors.
How it works
The Custom Blinds Price Assurance is built on three steps and one rule. The rule first: send the claim before you order. The Assurance is not a refund mechanism. It is a way to make sure that the price you pay at Custom Blinds is honest against the rest of the South African market, before you commit.
Find the same blind
Same brand, same fabric, same hardware, same dimensions, same operation. The product must be identical, not similar.
Send us the proof
Email a link or a clear, dated screenshot showing the same product and the lower price. Tell us the Custom Blinds product and dimensions you want.
Order at the matched price
We verify the claim and reply with a matched quote, usually within 24 hours. You order at the matched price.
What qualifies
For the Price Assurance to apply, the following conditions must all be met.
- The product must be identical: same brand, same fabric specification, same hardware, same dimensions, same operation.
- The competitor must be a legally recognised South African retailer selling directly to the public.
- The competitor's product must be in stock at the time we verify the claim.
- The price comparison includes VAT and any compulsory charges.
- The lower price must be available at the time you submit the claim.
- The claim must be submitted before placing your Custom Blinds order.
What is excluded
The Price Assurance does not apply to:
- Third-party marketplace listings: Takealot Marketplace, Amazon Marketplace, Temu, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and similar platforms.
- Auction sites, private sellers, and grey-market imports.
- Clearance, closeout, refurbished, ex-display, or damaged stock.
- Member-only, trade, or wholesale pricing.
- Bundle deals, free-gift offers, or promotional codes.
- Pricing errors and typographical mistakes.
- Quotes given by callback or email rather than displayed online (we cannot match a price that is not openly published).
- Orders already placed. The Price Assurance is not retrospective.
How to claim
Email sales@customblinds.co.za before you order with:
- The Custom Blinds product you intend to order, with dimensions and fabric.
- The competitor's product page URL, or a clear, dated screenshot showing the same product and lower price.
- The competitor's name.
We will respond within 24 hours with a matched quote.
Price Assurance Terms
- Identity"Identical product" means an item matching the Custom Blinds product's brand, fabric specification, hardware, dimensions, colour, and operation in every material respect.
- Comparable sellerA legally recognised South African retailer selling directly to the public. Excluded: third-party marketplace sellers, private sellers, auction listings, and foreign retailers without a registered South African presence.
- Pre-order onlyThe Price Assurance applies to claims submitted before an order is placed. It is not retrospective and does not apply to orders already placed, in production, or delivered.
- EvidenceThe customer must submit verifiable evidence: a URL, dated screenshot, or printed quotation showing the competitor's name, the identical product specification, and the lower price.
- VerificationWe will verify the claim and respond with a matched quote within 24 hours, where possible. The competitor price must be current and the identical product must be in stock at the time we verify.
- RemedyWhere a claim is verified, we will issue a matched quote at the verified price. The customer may then proceed with the order at that price. This is the sole remedy under the Price Assurance.
- DiscretionAll claims are subject to verification. We reserve the right, acting reasonably, to refuse claims that cannot be substantiated or that fall outside these terms. We may amend or withdraw the Price Assurance at any time without prior notice. Any matched quote already issued will be honoured.
- Consumer rightsNothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
