Aluminium-framed fly screens fit windows, sliding doors, stacking doors, and hinged openings across Knysna’s range of property configurations. Fixed screens mount permanently for year-round insect protection. Retractable screens pull across when needed and disappear into a slim cassette housing when not, preserving lagoon and forest views.
Mesh grades range from standard fibreglass insect mesh to stainless steel micro-mesh that blocks the smallest midges common around the Knysna Lagoon at dusk. Mosquito activity peaks from October through April, concentrated around Thesen Island, Leisure Isle, and the lagoon foreshore.
