02 Building plans

Retractable is the usual line.

The common distinction is between permanent and retractable: a fixed glass enclosure changes the footprint of the house, while a blind that rolls into a headbox and a louvre that opens to the sky usually do not. Municipalities read that line differently, some ask for notification or approval even for retractable systems, and estates and body corporates often need their own sign-off for any external addition. Outdoor blinds: the sides

On a patio that already has a roof, side blinds alone usually finish the job.
