Shipping Policy
Free courier shipping provided for blinds. We provide Postnet collections for remote areas to the nearest servicing town/depot
Clients will be advised when products have been dispatched by SMS/Whatsapp/email from the courier or from Custom Blinds which will include Waybill tracking information. It’s important to verify your address & contact details are correct to ensure timely delivery. If there is any changes please advise our customer service team immediately so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Please ensure your delivery address is normally occupied during the office hours.
Our company uses reputable couriers which will provide proof of delivery. Products will take 10 to 14 working days to manufacturer and then dispatched using economy courier service.
Please note that delivery time is based on region and size/weight of the product.
Production
Your order will be manufactured to the information that you enter on the site less a deduction of +/-3 to 5mm in both width and drop.
The colour you select for your blind may vary slightly to the actual blind you receive, due to slight colour differences and textures that might not display correctly on your computer screen. Wood and bamboo are natural products and shades may vary slightly to the sample colours. Please note that products may still have minimal colour variations from the manufacturers due to colour lot sizes.
In the event that a product is out of stock of a fabric/colour blind that you ordered, the office will contact you directly within 24 hours to choose a suitable alternative or you may cancel your order and you will obtain a full refund.
Guarantee
All of our blinds carry a one year factory guarantee for factory defects. Any factory fault claim must be made within 1 month of receiving the goods
The following does not constitute a factory fault:
– normal wear and tear
– if the product has been altered or repaired in any way whatsoever or damaged prior, during or after installation
Return and Refunds Policy
To send through a refund request please email sales@customblinds.co.za team within 14 days so we can promptly review and advice. Please do not return the goods prior to receiving an approved refund confirmation email which will include the return address. All goods returned need to be returned in original packaging and in the same condition as despatched.
The company (Custom Blinds) is not responsible for the courier costs in returning the items except where the goods are deemed damaged or the wrong product was delivered in which case the company will cover courier costs.
All refunds will be reversed to the account holder that originally placed the order less courier/postage costs for returns. We will under no circumstances refund to a third party. As refunds need to be processed by the banks, please note that the processing of refunds can take up to 5 working days from approval date.
When is a refund not possible?
Where a product has been specially ordered for you (made to measure), the product is damaged during installation or once delivery has been accepted by yourself by way of courier. We’re unable to accept cancellations of orders unless we are notified in writing within 24 hours of the order being placed.

Saxon Commodities T/A Custom Blinds ® shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter or fill out a form.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information.

Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested. The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving relevant marketing material.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database.
Credit Card Acquiring and Security
Credit card transactions will be acquired by OZOW and Yoco platforms. Credit card information is stored per Visa and Mastercard guidelines on that platform.
Country of Domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Saxon Commodities t/a Custom Blinds ® chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature 8 Simola Drive, Simola Estate, Knysna 6571
Variations
Saxon Commodities T/A Custom Blinds may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
